THOUSAND MODEL DIRECTORY available now, Price $1. from Athletic Model Guild 1834 W 11th Street Los Angeles 6, California. PURPOSE OF PHYSIQUE PICTORIAL

Physique Pictorial is dedicated to creating in everyone a greater body consciousness, that he may enjoy life to its fullest measure. We would never suggest that a person should neglect his spiritual nature, but rather believe that the average person leads a more useful life when his body is sound and healthy. Only a few of us want for ourselves the degree of perfection most of these athletes have achieved, yet in studying them we are again resolved to improve ourselves in everyway we can.

We hope this book offends no one, though we realize the mere portrayal of any part of the body disturbs some whose minds have been pitifully warped by improper training. A little gentle humor has been included, and here and there we have poked a little fun at some of our "antogonists" who take themselves too seriously. It is hoped that all who take the trouble to study the book will get a message of hope and inspiration from it, and will be better persons for the experience.

AMG CATALOG RENTAL PLAN. With a library in excess of 35,000 photographs, the Athletic Model Guild has for many years been eager to provide a practical and inexpensive method for interested persons to be able to review these. Our ten cent catalogs are one method of achieving this end, but even these can be a bit expensive when one wishes to review a thousand or more of them. So now AMG is renting the catalogs themselves of only 1 cent a page for a month's rental. To save bookkeeping costs, customers are asked to rent complete prefix groups (these are listed in a special bulletin which will be sent you if you are interested). Catalogs often contain photos catering to more specialized interests which are not often found in published books which must be directed towards more general tastes. Whatever your special interest may be, it is likely you will find it represented in the various catalogs. Comments and suggestions from our readers appreciated. Write to AMG 1834 West 11th Street Los Angeles 6, California.

THE FACELESS ONES!

--FACES ON PAGE 10

BUT FIRST, PASS YOUR JUDGMENT ON THESE MODELS BEFORE SEEING THEIR FACES. Most of these are athletes never before published so your judgment will be unbiased. One is old favorite Ed Fury (can you pick

him out?) Will you ever believe again that faces arent important in a physique photo?
